The plan was to depart Kaiteriteri on Saturday and head for Bark Bay, then from Bark Bay, on Sunday, head up to Awaroa, then back to Anchorange for the last night, Monday. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances (a bit of wind and chop) we only made it to Anchorange on the first day and an executive decision was then made by the financier of the trip to spend the next couple of nights (Saturday and Sunday) at Anchorage, essentially cutting our third night out of the equation.
After a good first night of kip we headed up to Tonga Island to check out the seals and the marine reserve. This [lunch included] would have to be my highlight of the trip.
We had some great weather over the three days and the trip provided Rob with an excellent introduction to sea kayaking.

just great paddy. we had a smashin time I loved it and look forward to doing it again. Just wondering how the germans are getting on? Next time less food more Bavarias. Thanks for your guidance & patience.
